Amendment to Improve Fairness in Treble Damage Penalties Senate #188
Vote Description
This amendment to S967 would have given employers a chance to prove their own innocence before being penalized for treble damages.
Mass Fiscal Explanation
Mass Fiscal would have voted yes on this amendment. With the onerous amount of state regulation employers face, it is only fair if the state allows employers to plea their own case before being subjected to penalties.
