Bill to Provide a Tax Free Weekend Senate #90

Vote Description

This bill exempts all purchases made by consumers on August 15th, 2015 and August 16th, 2015 from the state sales tax.

Mass Fiscal Explanation

MassFiscal would have voted yes. Removing the state sales tax, even for a couple of days, would give the Massachusetts economy a boost through increased consumption and give consumers' wallets a much needed break.
