Making It Easier For Bills To Be Considered Senate #10
Vote Description
In the legislature, bills are usually considered by joint committees from members of both the House and the Senate. Because the House has more members on each committee, Senate legislation sometimes has a harder time getting on the agenda. In practice, this amendment allows the senators on a given committee to vote by themselves to send a bill to the full Senate for consideration without the votes of House members of that committee.
